It has been before, but not with that clue, so never mind. This should be easy

If you're going to CoM you could pass BoD

Well, I WANT to say it's something to do with the seated figure of Ceres on top of the ex Clydesdale Bank which is now the Archibald Simpson Pub in Aberdeen....but I don't think Ceres has a surname. Maybe the woman who modeled her is CM. Is any of that in line with your clue......at all?

Good effort Sgurr, but all in vain I'm afraid.

You're on the right line now Sgurr.

Close, but have another go!

CB can also be anglicised to CV

You have no idea how many beaches, bays and bridges I contemplated before hitting this one. I spent a long time around Clackmannanshire Bridge looking for a seated statue, but could only find Fox Boy in Menstrie. Never mind, I am learning a lot....if only it would stick.

From LPS this P contains V & C

Valvona and Crolla are in Jenners, so that doesn't help :-)

No it doesn't. However, I will give you another clue. You can eat both V and C, and they are not contained in a hamper in this case.
