OK good hill walks?

The round of the Coniston Fells is the classic - take Dow Crag first, then Coniston Old Man, Swirl How, Weatherlam

Nearby also are the Langdale hills. One day take in Bowfell, via the Climber's Traverse & Great Slab, then traverse Crinkle Crags; if fit, Pike o'Blisco as well.

Langdale Pikes are a classic little cluster of interesting summits and a good shorter hill walk. For a really shorter hillwalk, take in something like Loughrigg and/or Silver How - great views.

But don't forget that Bluebird bitter, either.

Hello!

Don't know the lakes at all - went there once, and trundled up a hill in the midst of a crowd - felt a fool, never been back... I am told there are places you can get away from folks, but I've so much on the doorstep up here that I'll probably not bother!

Looking forward to hearing about your trips tho...
