PEAK DISTRICT - HOPE - HATHERSAGE - WIN HILL

Best regards to you all, in the Peaks yesterday parking up in Hope and visiting Hathersage, Bamford and topping out at Win Hill. Mixed weather and a few stops for refreshment and entertainment.

A few minutes into the walk

We hadn't been walkinh long when we met Willow, apparently he never leaves home without his ball, as his owner couldn't find it he had to take his pet cat (for animal lovers its stuffed )

Win Hill was the first I climbed in the Peak District and is a great day out from a number of directions. Good pics, Susan, you're obviously having better weather than I am on the WHW

I was born in the shadow of Win Hill on the Yorkshire Bridge estate just below Ladybower Reservoir, and now live t'other side of the hill in Bradwell. It's my favourite hill in the world, and i never tire of seeing it or climbing it.

Some lovely pics there - especially the river ones - lovely light! That looks a nice walk... but I must... not... get... involved with the Peak District - otherwise I'd never make it in to work!
