Hey there,
just moved to Glasgow and am basically looking for s.o. driving from here to the Highlands once in a while to bag a few munros. I am without a car but eager to go hiking
Looking forward to hear from you!

Excuse my ignorance but what is s.o.
I stick the odd post up if anyone wants to join me so keep on the lookout.
Have you looked at the Glasgow hillwalking club. They're out all the time.
Whereabouts in Glasgow are you. Sometimes I stay overnight with relatives in Glasgow and leave from theirs- depends where I'm going.

That is an intriguing name you have there. Do you need someone with a larger car?

I also live in the trendy Bohemian west end of Glasgolopolis, though I may soon be returning to the North lands. I have an embarrassingly small car at the moment, but may invest in a transit van type thing soon. Could you start eating lots of herbs and spices please.

Oh it's not for you ~ it's so that your flesh takes on the flavour of the herbs and spices. Did I not mention my previous camping trip in the Rockies ? Known as the Donner Party, it has become somewhat infamous....

I'm currently trying to bag whatever I can with buses. The citylink buses from Glasgow to Fort William/Skye are really good - especially the 6:50 from Buchanan Bus Station (which can get to Glencoe by about 9:30!). I'm going for Ben Vane tomorrow on that bus if you're interested! I'll be slow but armed with sausage rolls!!

I'm also in Glasgow & don't drive.

I'm getting the train out to Tarbet in a few weeks for some climbing & camping if you fancy it.
