Follow paths and some short sections of minor roads running parallel to the River Tweed to reach Cardrona at the half way point (cafe and small shop) before taking the old railway line and a delightful riverside path into Peebles.
Please watch the video for a guided tour of the route.
I cover the remaining 13 miles of my 6 day hike, to finish at Peebles where I catch the bus to Edinburgh.
The SNT continues through Edinburgh and across central Scotland, I'll complete these sections once I have saved enough funding to stay in accommodation, as there are not many places for wild camping in the central belt of Scotland.
See my Walkhighlands blog page for the rest of the stages I've done.
I've now completed all the stages between Kirk Yetholm to Peebles, and Milngavie to Shiel Bridge, hoping to have the whole route completed by Christmas.
