Our first time up Ben Lawers, and having closely watched the met office forecast knew Saturday would be a good day for viability :( , sadly it was not to be and so although the climb was great, we didn't see any thing other than cloud on the ascent, The cloud cleared for a few seconds on the way down and we had a huge sense of pride looking back at the hulk of Ben Lawers. Lovely views of Loch Tay appeared as we came further down out of the clouds. . Easy parking in a big car park ( £2.00 for a day ) is always a good start to a walk.We will climb it again and hopefully next time see the views. :
