We set off after 9am from Bridge of Orchy, making our way through the station and then walking onto the moorland path to the left of the pylon :-( the weather was really pleasantc for the time of year, the sun was shining and it wasn't too cold (had to take a layer off!!) we walked up the stoney wet track until we reached the cairn on the bealach in between the two mountains.

We decided to ascend Beinn an Dothaidh first, which was a good decision as when we reached the summit the skies cleared for us so we were able to get some nice pics.

We encountered a large group of walkers on the approach to the summit and a few solo walkers.

After stopping for a cuppa we then descended back down between the two munros and started our ascent up Beinn Dorain, again bumping into a lovely lady with whom we chatted with for a while.

The visibility was poor and the snow quite compacted from all of the walkers but it was breathtaking when the clouds cleared, although the drop from the ridge was quite daunting, got some great pics at the summit though.

We made our way back down and eventually got back to the hotel at 16:30 and finished off with a nice hot cuppa before driving back home.

It was a great day with really good company, I enjoyed these munros and we were fairly lucky with the weather too.
