Haven’t Got a Scoobie

Whilst having a squiz at the bonzer article about John Allen’s involvement in hill rescue (seems like a fair dinkum bloke)I came across the term Scoobie. Had to look it up as I didn’t have a clue as to what it referred. Seems John has been in this area for yonks so should know what he is talking about.
Seem basically that some drongos go out completely unprepared for bushwalks for which they have no understanding of.
We plan to walk,tramp,hike the West Highland Way in 19, which we have wanted to do for yonks, so am keen for members of this forum to enlighten me on some of the more colourful Scottish slang terms we may come across?

Watch trainspotting 1 and 2, go for a few pints in Glasgow before you start walking and then forget everything you learned as you will probably meet more Aussies on your walk that Glaswegians with broad accents. I met a Kiwi, Canadian, couple of German guys walking it. Only Scottish accent I heard was my mates and the barman.

I thought it was derived from Cockney rhyming slang, Scoobie Doo for clue. Therefore haven't got a scoobie means haven't got a clue. I think Scoobie Doo was a cartoon dog.....?
