Time for a gratuitous bump! Sizing this one up for a weekend in Gairloch with a couple of mates either end of Feb or end of March. What I would give for a day like that! That first picture back down over Loch Maree and over to Slioch is breathtaking! 8)

It's a fine hill with stunning views, though from a photography point of view, I think the visual impact of the summit platform and boulders would actually be diminished under snow cover. The recent hydro works on the Grudie are now complete: I hope they have done a reasonable job of tidying up after themselves.

Full House = Munros+Munro Tops+Furths(All the hills in England Wales and Ireland that would be Munros were they in Scotland)+ Corbetts+Grahams+New Donalds. I went to Anne Butler's Furth Completion on Fiarach in September. She has not only done those, but 5 Munro rounds. I am in awe. The David you met must have got all these long since

Lovely lovely pics. We did this hill in full summer and thought we had got some good pics, but the snow just sets it all off

Particularly love the Black and white shots: for winter landscapes where there's not a lot of colour, B/W has a lot to recommend it . After all you can't beat Ansel Adams :D
