Looking for a short walk today and this one fitted the bill.Previous walk reports mention crossing barbed wire fences and dealing with cattle, plus parking seemed awkward round about this area.Got round those problems,I parked my car next to the church in Dolphinton, seemed to be enough room for traffic if careful .Walked up the road and you come to a stile, with dog-friendly access as well.Just followed the trail which took me to a point where you cross over a fence, its a steep pull up to the top, however it levels off fairly quickly.Just followed the fence-line up to the trig point.Just to extend the walk on the way back, went to the next hill,White Hill and just came round the side of that one and picked up the pathway back to my car.Pleasant wander with fine views all round.
