Now that had my attention from start to finish. Beautifully written, and fascinating, account of the quiet satisfaction of compleating on the most dramatic ridge in these Isles.

Now where's that Talisker, I feel the urge to raise a glass to you and the companions you've climbed with over the years...

Con-gra-tu-la-tions!! :D :D From us both!

Now you can enjoy the hills without any pressure. No more list ticking

Still to do Am Basteir, hopefully this year. It looks fantastic, but I'm not going there on misty/wet day. Just fingers crossed for another dry, warm summer.

Great choice to copmpleat, especially in your case as your journey started in the same area
I enjoyed Am Basteir last summer, great one day trip on Skye with my son, we climbed Bruach na Frithe and added Am Basteir as it was hard to resist...

Apologies...I said in my reply that we reached the tooth via Bells chimney...should read King's Cave Route.....correction just checked my wee guidebook of that time. Notes say that It appears that stones roll into the narrowing of the cave to block the exit. We pulled out several large stones to get through.

I have another apology to make regarding this post and my reply. I made a major faux pas by confusing the gentleman completest with another poster to the Forum.
I confused the gentleman with the gentleman who trades under the Forum name of 'past my sell by date'
