This is a pictorial description of a trekking tour of parts of Utah based in Salt Lake City and Moab from 5 - 18 June 2019. In the Arches and Canyonlands NPs, temps regularly exceeded 36 degs C which made for exhausting trekking.

What an extraordinary landscape. I've tried climbing mountains in similar temperatures in China and it just kind of spoils the fun. But scenery like this must put an extra spring in your step? I know Utah is an unattractively conservative state, but I didn't know it had such splendour to make up for it.
