Planning one of my slightly off book trips and thinking of mountain biking into Gleouriach and Spidean Mialach from the Cluanie Inn on the Saturday. I remember the trail to the start of the South Glen Shiel Ridge being ok, anyone got knowledge of the trail through to the north side of these munros? There appears to be good stalkers paths up the northern sides of the hills, just wondering if Big Tommo will kill me when it turns out the trails require Danny MacAskill type skills to negotiate?

Came that way on the CWT in 2015 John. I recall the lower glen being boggy ,having a river crossing and a large deer fence which had a high stile. The path up through the corrie to the old road was a fine walking path but I cant recall its suitability for cycling

NOTE TO ALL ATTENDEES
There seems to be limited fridge space, and only one small oven here!
Best to bring stuff that doesn't need refrigerating where possible, and stuff to cook on the jobs if you can.
Coolboxes, camping stoves etc all useful ....

Thanks to all for making the Ratagan meet another one to remember, hopefully for the right reasons with a particular thanks to Mr Dewar for a most entertaining and intellectually enriching quiz, and to our photographer Mr Main.
I can confirm a minor surplus of funds after the financial reckoning so far, and once I'm happy that Hostelling Scotland do not want me to fund a new building (or contents) for them, then I will donate all surplus to Kintail Mountain Rescue.

A wonderful few days in Ratagan. Huge thanks to Mr Wilson for organising and hosting an excellent event.
Two great Munro days Friday and Saturday (I am saying nothing about Wednesday's Corbett!
) with excellent company and banter. It was great to get back to a meet for the first time in nearly 3 years and to make some new friends and catch up with some people I have known and walked, drunk, sung, laughed and cried with for many years and who I am privileged to call friends.

Thanks for all the organising Jonathan, great location (apart from the eating flying things) and you even managed to get some decent weather which is a novelty.
Tough act to follow David, but am sure you will manage.
