A short walk up High Spy from Rosthwaite by way of Lingy Bank and Rigghead Quarries following the path along the side of Tongue Gill. The intention was to meet a DofE Gold Expedition Group at High Spy who were ascending the peak via Catbells and Maiden Moor. In the event they were a little late and I walked out along the their route to meet them, which I did close to the col with Maiden Moor.
More or less retraced my steps back to Rosthwaite, leaving the group to make their own way down by way of Tongue Gill.

A pleasant route.
