Almost trackless 7 day summer hike suggestions wanted

I've done Blair Atholl to Aviemore over two days and was of the opinion it would have been better done over three. I later did it over three days, and I was correct. The section between White Bridge and Corrour on the east bank of the Dee is boggy at points, especially once you're within sight of Corrour, but has some lovely spots to stop - flat ground near the river, big flat rocks to sit on and dangle your feet in the water while dinner rehydrates. Whichever way you go, don't underestimate the last day - Glen Tilt and Rothiemurchus are both lovely but still lengthy walks.

You've got good high level options over the tops for day three as well if the weather is good.

One day (or three-four days) I'd like to do that point to point over the high ground. Beinn Dearg - An Sgarsoch / Fiddler - across the Geldie and up Beinn Bhrotain and then the usuals down to Aviemore.

There is a Millets Outdoor Store located next to our Inverness Hotel in the Retail Park. I asked them multiply times if they have meths spirit available there (I also referred to a Trangia stove they offer on their website), but they just don't understand me. Is this kind of fuel so uncommon in UK?

You should be able to get meths in smaller hardware shops or try more specialist hiking and camping shops. In Inverness, try Craigdon Mountain Sports (close to the station) or Tiso's (further away), their online catalogues have it in stock.

In Germany you can get it in every drug store, for cleaning. But I understand, it's different in UK. If we can't get it at Tesco we will try Craigdon Mountain Sports in the morning just before boarding the train, thank you.

you should be able to get it in the tesco, but "the Range" is opening a new store in the same retail park about the 5th July, i think they do meths. Craigdon doesn't open until about 11 or 12 on a Sunday if that effects you

But as it contains alcohol, you're probably not allowed to buy it until 10.00 in any case under Scottish Law

It is very common and they are just very stupid in that store.

There is a Blacks opposite the railway station which might sell meths.

If you look at their cooking section, they sell camping gas, trangias, bottles for "trangia fuel" but no meths. "Toolstation" Inverness has it and is open on a Sunday from 9 a.m.

Got confused about your itinerary. You have many more options than I thought.

If BA will bring us to Inverness this friday, we thought about hiking this route. It's not almost trackless, but still for some parts. Anyone can tell me if we will be fine with this route, or is there any barrier that will stop us from moving forward, like a to deep or fast flowing river? According to the maps we bought ground shouldn't be to boggy if we keep on this route. Is that correct?

That is very similar to a route I have my eye on, except I was planning to go up Carn a Chlamain instead of Beinn Dearg. My only thought as to difficulty is that if it is wet, it could be squelchy underfoot, if it is cloudy, you won't see much at altitude (and most of it is at altitude), and you have to cross the Tarf water, I have no idea how easy that is, I imagine not so in spate.
