I heard a funny story about Loch Builg. Years ago, some rather unsavoury types, friends of mine, had taken a reproduction Japanese Hara-Kiri sword up there on a camping trip, for chopping wood, or so they claimed. Anyhoo, after the trip was done, they lobbed it into the loch rather than get arrested trying to make their way back through Braemar and Aberdeen with it sticking out of their rucksacks. Years went by and they forgot it, until an article in the newspaper in Aberdeen caught their eye - some poor innocent blokes had fished a rusty sword out of the loch, and were pictured gleefully clutching their "Jacobite" hara-kiri sword...
Anyhoo, have a picture of a loch somewhere...
- A rare photograph of Caberfeidh, from yesteryear. I'm in there somewhere...
