WALK HIGHLANDS MEET SPRING 2020

WALK HIGHLANDS MEET SPRING 2020

Postby Alteknacker » Wed Sep 18, 2019 11:44 am

Having been “volunteered” at the last meet to organise the Spring 2020 meet, I have got the Glencoe Independent Hostel held over for a few days on 17th/18th April 2020, pending confirmation of numbers.
https://glencoehostel.co.uk/

Accommodation is as follows:
Hostel: 24 beds – 4 x 6 bedrooms
Bunkhouse: 16 beds – 2 x 8, 1 x 4
Plus – if we get large numbers, log cabins for 3 people. I propose that if we get to this situation, the folk book themselves.
There is room on the site for a fcouple of small mobile homes (VW size), but no hook-up facilities.
The Squirrel campsite is 5 minutes down the road, for tents and larger mobile homes.

A small number of dogs is OK

As I’m sure you all know, from the hostel all the following groups of hills are within easy striking distance: Glencoe, Ben Nevis, Ballachulish, Tyndrum, Glen Etive/Blackwater……

The price for the hostel and the bunkhouse is £37 pp for the 2 nights

If you wish to come, please confirm to me by PM, and I will also PM you payment details.

Please let me know as soon as you can :D .

Great spot for it. Will hopefully make this one. Still a ton of hills to do that way.
