Is your handle "Steve B", " Steve_B" or "Steve B"? This may be the source of the problem.

I got a PM from you saying I still hadn't sent payment details...???

Hello there, I have just joined the forum and have not long started to climb with a small group of friends. I would certainly be interested in joining you guys for a wander, is there a closing date for this at all as would need to check and see if the other two would be available before committing. We have an agreement that we climb together or not at all, safety in numbers and all that.

Regards.

Alteknacker, can you remove me from the list please. Planning other things for April next year so cant attend. If the situation changes I will camp, or if full use the SYHA. Thanks

Hi, Good to see you've joined the forum!

As regards a closing date, it's effectively determined by the time the hostel fills up (ie people have committed and paid). I've already paid the deposit.

You've got a fair bit of time yet, I would say. So far about half of the beds are taken, and there's usually a bit of a rush as the date itself approaches.

Sensible thing to walk in numbers, and it would be good to have some new faces. Mind you, if your mates can't make it, many of the folk split into groups and do walks, so a solo walker looking for company would be unlikely not to be able to find a group to walk with.

Hope you can all come, and I look forward to meeting you.

Hi Al - great choice of location. That's the last weekend of the Easter holidays in Brum, so will need to see if I can make it nearer the time. Hopefully will be able to! Cheers.
