Climbed Sgurr nan Gillean (again) on 6 May in glorious sunshine, by the SE ridge more or less as described here, except that we passed the exit from the upper corrie and escaped left higher up by a narrow cleft with a hard move at the top. What a summit, situation brilliant, views fantastic - can't understand why I've waited 32 years to do it again. I have some photos but can't remember how to resize them, so I'll send later.

Very glad to see you made the summit, and the weather was fine, you chose a good day. Look forward to seeing your photo’s.

I've just remembered how to do the resizing thing - here's a photo of pinnacles 3 and 4 and another of a party arriving on the summit. Unfortunately didn't take any shots of the scrambling as I had my hands full, so to speak. We did Mhadaidh & Greadhaidh (is that the spelling?) the day before and had similar weather, but the day before that we had to retreat from Sgurr Dearg (about 30 metres from summit) in ferocious wind & rain. And no midges in the campsite!
