Just a heads up about Linn of Quoich bridge/ car park
Last hill before heading back south. Linn of Quoich car par closed. Where do I park
Victoria bridge beside the wee gatehouse. Theres space for one car either side.
Over the bridge and onto a good track through the forest which brought me out at the cattle grid. Theres signs up all round here saying "No parking- turning area." 2 cars were parked there!!
I walked down the road to where the workies are and got on the path behind them and up and round and down to the footbridge.
At the cattle grid theres a track going up on the left , which , if you take, will also lead to the footbridge. Just means you stay away from the workies and their machines
One other thing about the route- just past the last cottage theres a big old tree lying on its side.

About 50m past this is a kinda stalkers path. Get on this and head up to the main track to go left and up.
Signs up saying work commenced September 2nd. None saying when it may reopen.
When it does reopen I'd go via the footbridge anyway just to see the water raging under it.
Ascent 650m roughly
4..8 hours
19.45km
