Looking towards An Teallach (pointy bits just fractionally visible on left) and A'Mhaighdean, with Beinn Lair in front?

I am guessing that the nearer hill on the far left is Beinn an Eoin. So could this be taken from one of the dips between the Horns Of Alligin?...

Actually on the way up/down from the Horns, with Beinn Dearg on the right, but that's well deduced - all yours!

No guesses yet, so here's a few clues

The photo was taken from the top of a Munro

The hill in the foreground is not a Munro, but it is part of one (it might be a Top - I'm not sure). However, it is often more prominently named on road atlases etc than its parent Munro

The more complex hill in the background is also a Munro - one of the more remote hills in this area.

No guesses yet so here are two other photos taken moments later from exactly the same Munro summit. Where am I?

I keep returning to this and giving it a go but as I don't recognise any of the hills it is proving difficult, can you please provide a rough area or another clue please Tim?

Is the background Munro one of the more remote Munros or remote hills? My best guess is that you are looking towards Carn Eighe from one of the Munros to the south.
