Had a spare day, right achilles tendon was giving a bit of a niggle.
Decided on a low intensity walk in the Ochils.
Weather back in Falkirk was thick mist, this cleared as you crossed the river Forth to blue skies.
Ochils were clear of clouds with a nippy South wind higher up.
Everything low lying to the north of the Ochils was covered in a thick mist, only the peaks were showing through.
Went for a wander across the tops, cracking day.
Warning
Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
