Spot on - the announcement about the clear-up was last week.

And very quickly solved too - well done! I didn’t even have to use my Rosamund Pike clue!

Thanks Tim, the saga at Dalgety Bay seems to have been going on for a very long time (20years+?), good to see it is being resolved at last.

Now try this one: TPT - destination known to every taxi driver in one of Scotland's cities.

Very perceptive of you Tim, shall we leave it at that? ... over to you. (I really don't want to offend any Mary Whitehouses out there!)

I’m afraid not - although it could be said that the CO “commands” a fine view...

It’s not just D that can be seen from a CO. There is also K, for example.

Can Dalkeith be seen from the Edinburgh City Observatory? I imagine Kirkcaldy can too?

Sgurr was getting on the right lines but this is closer - CO is indeed Camera Obscura

My full clue would be

A matter of life and death scene shows a Camera Obscura* but the Camera Obscura in this clue shows us Dumfries

It’s not just Dumfries that can be seen from a Camera Obscura. There is also Kirriemuir, for example.

* The film "A matter of life and death" contains a scene in which the daily life of a village is viewed through a Camera Obscura

Over to you!
