We started the walk from Sligachan at 10am. We were aware that it was a long walk and indeed it was.
The weather was perfect this day and we got some wonderful views. When we returned at 8pm with tired legs we agreed that it had been a truly great walk despite the distance.

Plenty of water breaks.

We did the ascent as described here. We had some difficulties finding the right way after the path ended but managed to get to the top eventually. The views of the Cuillin and Loch Coruisk were truly amazing. The contrast between the dark water of the loch and the green sea was great.

After some sandwiches and plenty of water we decided to take the detour down to Camasunary beach and around Loch na Creitheach on the way back to Sligachan. The loch was a really nice and desert place. Actually we met very few people on the whole of our walk and this added to the feeling.

Returning to Sligachan.

It´s worth mentioning that the return to Sligachan can be very very long. You´ll see the hotel for hours before your tired legs manage to drag you over there. But it´s definitely worth the effort and especially in great weather.

Fab pics. So unfair I was there 2 weeks later and there was nothing to see to much cloud and rain. Fortunately we have been before in better weather. Lucky you.
