Invervar parking

Looking to walk the Glen Lyon 4 soon, does anyone know if the car park has been closed off? Are there alternative places for parking nearby?

I don't know about the car park, but there appear to be alternatives with space for a couple of cars about 0.5km to the W, at the entrance to a forestry track https://goo.gl/maps/aWPzvHJU2F8K6tvb9, or about 1km to the E near Carnbane Castle https://goo.gl/maps/zJ34yXURvfMPsJrw8

Try emailing the estate to ask. I tried this 2 years ago to ask about hill access in the stalking season. I very quickly got a reply from someone who was extremely helpful, letting me know that my planned route wouldn't be a problem, and letting me know where they planned to be carrying out stalking that day.

When l done these last year, the carpark was full so people were parking on the verge about 100m - 200m east of the start.

I am not sure it was appreciated but plenty people doing it.

be careful if you are going to download a paper route from this site as the link does not work correctly as i found out when we did this route. when you first open up route final munro is meall nan aighean but if you zoom in it changes to creah mhor and meall nan aighean is to the east.
