Can't think of another clue without actually giving the answer.

Surely someone else in here must have been brought up on The Sunday Post! They're just not admitting to it...

I read the cartoons avidly when visiting a friend of my parents who took the SP, but I couldn't tell you who drew them.

Daughter wanted a newspaper of her own when she was 10, so we got her that for a while. Does the H stand for Highwayman and the TM for the guy who wrote it? Wikipedia doesn't seem very keen on the history

Presumably THM is The HON Man, a generic name for a group of peripatetic reporters interviewing people around the country. HON being Holiday On Nothing.

And I had never heard of The Sunday Post before now!

Dunadd, Dunollie, Dunaverty and Dunseverack were all Dal Riata royal forts. Surprised you didn't get Dunadd which was the principal one.

Yes, it does, and people got wealthier because they were enabled to do whatever they had been doing more accurately and faster.
