Where is this?

Where is this?

Hi,

Random question but does anyone know where this location is?

It’s one of the first colour postcards from Scotland. We think it’s Fort William or Glen Nevis way.

Thanks!

Looks like Glen Nevis, Sgurr a Mhaim on the bottom left and Stob Ban to the right

I think you're right have a look here on google https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@56.7875748,-5.056272,3a,75y,175.4h,90.73t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1svn30qSnjqzc7cf0ga6G34A!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

The clump of trees on the left match too.

If you swing round to look at the other direction there is a knoll from which the picture was most likely taken.

Thanks so much! That’s definitely it. The grandson of the man in the photo is going to try and recreate it next week.
