A beautiful day was forecast so took the opportunity to hit the hills and chose to attempt two of the Munros I hadn’t yet bagged near Crianlarich.
Got parked up at a very overcrowded car park at Inverlochlarig only due to the fact that a kind gentleman coming back from his walk of the mountains indicated that he was leaving and I could have his car parking spot.
Got changed into shorts, my boots and a dri fit top and along with Skye we headed down the track to the left of the car park heading towards the farm.
Crossed over the bridge and then managed to get Skye over the stile which leads you to the path beside the burn.
Beinn Tulaichean is then facing you. It is a slog up the face and took some time as there is no path. Met a group of ladies asking the best way up and suggested I didn’t think there was a path.
There was a path of sorts when you cross the fence line at 700m and the going beyond that wasn’t as steep. Again it’s a lift and over for anyone with a dog.
It doesn’t take long from there to reach the summit with great views to Cruach Ardrain and the mighty Ben More and Stob Binnein.

From the summit it is a very easy walk down to the bealach between the two mountains.

Noting the cairn which indicates the path down to the right when descending we carried on and saw some hikers coming up the path from the Grey Height (A82 side). A small lochan was very tempting for Skye and she was sprinting in and out of it. The pull up to the top of Cruach Ardrain isn’t taxing and done fairly quickly.

Route back down follows a path on the left of the right hand burn. It crosses this burn further down and then follows the right hand side down to the track where turning right and following it takes you back to the farm.
The walk would be better done in reverse to save the slog up Beinn Tulaichean.
