Beinn Fhada early morning: Wildlife,drizzle,mist, but views!

After 5 working days ( tue - sat ) with very early starts every morning , waking up at 00:40 am and 12 hours shifts, Sunday was finally day to rest a bit.....but can someone resist when the weather forecast looked "reasonably dry" and with only very little wind on the West ? Well, I prepared all my mountain stuff on saturday evening, got to bed just before 22:00 with the alarm set to 01:00 am ! Enjoyed the silent night driving with the extra care to avoid any deer and rabbits collision, I arrived in Kintail shortly after sunrise...
I was lucky with the timing as the top of the mountains was still in a clag as I was keeping looking from the bottom, but fortunately it cleared when I got on the summit...then closed the views quickly again and looked like it stayed like that for the rest of my way back to the car park. Hope the other walkers ( only 6 solo walkers ) I have met on my way down got some views at least for a short time...
Great day in the mountains and good refreshment from the work After another 4 hours of driving got back homeat 19:00...still good time yet to spend the evening with my family

Good report, thanks. I was one of the solo walkers you met just below the plateau and sadly no view on Fhada so your film fills the gaps! Two hours later the cloud lifted and justified toiling up A' Ghlas Bheinn.
