Ben Chonzie Mountain Bike Advice

Hi, I know this is short notice but I am heading to do the above Munro tomorrow 03.09.20, could I come down on a mountain bike most of the way from the top, is the track which is most of the way ok for a mountain bike, some advice would be great,

Assuming you mean the glen lednock approach then it’s a somewhat stony Land Rover track. Suspect rideable but I’ve only been on it in winter.

I've only done it when the tops been snow covered also. I dont think its worth taking the bike though unless you are really into that sort of thing.

The tracks not bad, easy enough for a mountain bike to save some time. you can walk it in 3-4hrs if you're fast though

Yeah could have taken the bike as track is ok for a mountain bike if anyone wants to knock time off the day. Looks like fun on way down for bike.

Cycle in from the Loch Turret car park, you get quite far in leaving a nice short climb to the summit. It's a far more interesting approach than Glen Lednock too.
