Cuillin guides?

Good morning,

I have climbed over 60 munros including Aonach Eagach, Forcan ridge, Ring of Steall etc, and i've had many long days including Bridge of Orchy 5, Glenshee 6, Ben Lawers 7, and 9 at Glen Shiel so i think i'm ready to tackle the Cuillin. However, i would be much more comfortable with a guide (due to ropework etc and support on the InPin as i really don't like heights).

Could anyone recommend a great instructor for myself anytime this year?
I'd be very grateful for the advice.

I used West Coast Mountain Guides who I think partner with Steve Fallon. Both are booked up for the year unfortunately. I would recommend the West Coast 4-day course if you can wait until 2021.

I'd imagine one-to-one guiding will be fairly pricey.

I didn't use a guide on the couple of occasions I did the ridge, but I did a couple of courses with Mike Laing of Snowdonia Climbing (climbing; and winter skills) and found him superb. I know he does at least one if not more ridge expeditions every year - I met him entirely by chance in Glen Brittle the first time I did the ridge. As well as being highly skilled and experienced, he has a really great confidence-building manner. Worth contacting I would say.
