I had already decided to do Sgiath Chuil & Meall Glas and noticed there would be an anomaly in the shape of Meall Ghaordaidh for this area. I knew this wouldn't be a hard walk, so I headed for Killin first before making for Glen Dochart for the afternoon. It was nice and chilly when I parked at the usual spot, though the sun was trying to burn away some early low cloud.

Guess it's this way!!

I took the WH route, following Allt Dhuin Croisg to the shielings, then heading NW on the path up the body of MG.

Summit just covered in cloud.

Glen Lochay.

The path was boggy in places, but nothing overly bad.

The afternoon's destination.

Cloud base kept dropping and clearing, and just my luck it dropped as I got the summit

To the head of Glen Lochay.

No.150 Meall Ghaordaidh summit.

Only stayed here for 5 minutes, though did get a faint brocken spectre for my troubles, before retracing my steps back to the car.

I did say it was faint!!!
