A copper-bottomed answer. I was hoping my brother would send me a photo of the model of the Scottish Maid he has finished before you solved it but he hasn't. Scottish Maid was built at Hall and Co shipyard in Aberdeen and the first schooner to have a raked stem orr what became known as an Aberdeen Bow which was a distinctive feature of the clipper sailing vessels and helped to make the Scottish Maid a speedy ship for her day, 49 hours from Aberdeen to London.
NB I resisted the temptation to say that perhaps you, Sgurr, were 3 sheets to the wind on GGW and therefore unable to answer the question.
