This was all our 1st time in the Cairngorms,left house at 5.30 and picked up alans,and JB likes a beer and walking across car park by 8am heading for Ben Macdui,with a fine view back to Loch Morlich

.The good path takes you the open hillside,then large stones carry you across the Allt ciore an t Sneachda

this leads on across the moor,no views in this clag,only the path ahead

found the going very easy all the way on to the wide ridge of Maidan Creag an Leth-Choin,with a fleeting glimpse of the small Lochan Buidhe

reached the large summit with very little effort,this was so easy for this to be 2nd highest munro

.Had a 20min break here for food and let alans and jb muck about with my dogs

hoping the clouds would clear and get some views across the Larig Ghru,with no luck so started back down to meet up with the path that leads to Cairn Gorm,no sooner of the summit and the clouds clear and we get a good view over to Cairn Toul and Braeriach we think
