Hello,

I've been using the site for routes for about a month now and think it's great. It's now become an invaluable tool for my walking and really fills a gap. After all, there are too many walks in Scotland for them all to fit nicely into one book.

This weekend saw fantastic weather and I got pretty sun-burnt up Ben Venue. There's always a patch I miss with the sun cream!

Thanks to everyone who has already posted their reviews on the walks. I enjoy reading these either before or after I go.

E.

Hmmm - I tend to the latter... I read the descriptions of the hills I *think* I'll do, then go to the opposite end of the country. Regularly.
And when I *do* manage to read the route before I go, I tend to do it wrong... backwards, or by some obscure route - but then my posts would be (even more) boring if that wasn't the case :D

Sunshine, the bane of the pale skinned man. Would it not be nice to change into a well tanned visage rather than the normal beetroot shade, dreams are made of this.Factor 50 and still not enough, thank goodness those days are few and far between. Nice warm rain with little wind thats for me.
Enjoy.

Welcome eccy, yes i know what you mean, its just that the sunny days are few and far between, maybe this year we will get a proper summer so that when we reach the tops we will be able to enjoy many spectacular views, after all thats what makes it all worth doing.

Welcome to the site Eccy – you are certainly right when you say this site is packed full of useful information :D

It doesn’t take long to get to grips with placing posts, pictures and walking accounts. There is so much information on this site you can spend hours searching through it all and the net result is an unquenchable urge to get lout into the hills again!
