You're better with McNett Silnet as that's actually for seam sealing. Remember and part dilute it with white spirit, it spreads easier and you use much less. 8)

Hi Robin, thanks for your comments. Can you recommend what ratio of white spirit to use with seam sealant?

Pour small amounts of of spirit into some decanted sealant and mix until you have the viscosity of olive oil.

You can also use mineral spirit instead of white spirit if you already have some.
