Leaving the car by the memorial at GR 476418 i walked 3.5 km along the road to cross the bridge over the River Lyon at GR 512421.

After 2 km east the Allt Lairig Luaidhe was easily crossed before another 1.5 km put me on the summit.

Fence posts were then followed down to the Bealach at 535405, with next a rising traverse northwest to the summit of Creag an Tulabhain.

After lunch and soaking up the views i headed down steep slopes to the west, then southwest to cross the bridge and a short walk back to the car.

The best thing early last week wasn't just the sunshine and the amazing clarity, but those lovely fluffy clouds for photos too 8)

Looks great - did you park so far west because of parking problems or to extend the walk?

As i passed the bridge at Stronuich i saw i could park there but first wanted to visit the memorial. On the drive to the memorial the river and loch were showing a deep blue colour, so i decided to walk back up the road and try to get some photo’s.
