Leaving the car by the memorial at GR 476418 i walked 3.5 km along the road to cross the bridge over the River Lyon at GR 512421.

After 2 km east the Allt Lairig Luaidhe was easily crossed before another 1.5 km put me on the summit.

Fence posts were then followed down to the Bealach at 535405, with next a rising traverse northwest to the summit of Creag an Tulabhain.

After lunch and soaking up the views i headed down steep slopes to the west, then southwest to cross the bridge and a short walk back to the car.

As i passed the bridge at Stronuich i saw i could park there but first wanted to visit the memorial. On the drive to the memorial the river and loch were showing a deep blue colour, so i decided to walk back up the road and try to get some photo’s.
