We were trying to decide all week depending on the weather which area to head for on Saturday, we made up our minds on thursday as the west was to be best and made for Beinn Mhanach and were not disappointed, it was an enjoyable walk in along the glen with a nice easy but steep climb to the top where we enjoyed some fantastic views, the sun was beating down and hardly a breath of wind so we spent a good hour enjoying our lunch before heading over to Beinn a Chuirn then down to the track back to the car.

Great pics there, looks quite intimidating in some of them.

From your pics it looks like the path along the river all the way to the fork is do-able on a bike. Is it generally flat all the way in? I see from WH's route it crosses the river a few times, did you have a chance for a paddle?
