A friend of ours recommended this climb and we were not disapointed.
Weather wise very cold, wet and windy when the clouds did clear how amazed were we.
We started off about 10.30 after the drive from Lochgoil and decided to climb Stob Dubh first.
Walking along an exposed ridge just before the summit the wind almost took Richard ( theres not much to him at only 5 and a half stone )and I off our feet, very scary and exciting. Leigh almost called it a day at this point as we have never experienced the wind speed and strength quite like that.
After a quick discussion we carried on together and walked hand in hand until we had respite from the wind. (scary )
We carried on and climbed up Stob Coire Raineach
A lesson learned for us this climb and Richard has promised to eat bigger portions to help keep his feet on the ground
