Lost tripod in Fisherfield

Lost tripod in Fisherfield

Hello everyone, I've been a complete idiot and dropped/lost my Gitzo camera tripod during a recent outing into deepest darkest Fisherfield yesterday (October 17th).

I'm fairly certain I lost it in the specific area highlighted in the attachment. It is quite a small carbon fiber traveler tripod that was in a Gitzo fabric bag. It fell out of my bag while I was on the main path from Clach na frithealaidh and passing Lochan Feith Mhic-illean heading down to Carnmore and I hadn't noticed.

I'm gutted at the loss as it holds immense sentimental value to me (I'm weird like that). Please please please, If you or anyone you know happens to be in the Fishefield area, please keep an eye out for it. I'm willing to offer a reward of £100 for its return. I'll also contact the estate and let them know but if you have any other ideas of who might help I will be forever grateful.

Thank you for reading,
Craig.

Hi craigaitchy ,

Think I've got you're tripod!

I found it next to the path by Lochan Feith mic eillien on 4th November. Think its all in working order, I certainly didn't think it had been out in open air for 2 weeks, must be a good bit of kit.

Apologies its taken so long to find you, it sat in the back of the shed until this this morning.

I live near Aviemore, let me know best way of getting it back to you.

Cheers

Calum you absolute legend! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

That's a £100 in your back pocket for carrying the thing all the way out from there.

I'm in Glasgow so will come to you or meet you somewhere that is suitable.

I'm in no particular rush for it back either.

My mobile number is 07813336462

Thanks again,
Craig.
