Started at 0715hrs,grid 356320 walked to Bowscale tarn-Bowscale-Banderdale Crags-Great Calva-Little Calva-Knott-to the Lingy hut for a well earned rest soaked,& blown about.after lunch onto Great Lingy hill-Hare stones-High Pike-Carrock Fell steep down hill to Stone ends farm i then followed the road back to my campervan finished at 1500hrs,going was quite hard strong winds all day & driving rain,reasonable viz. A river crossing at grid312312 was different nearly up to my waist,so that set the tone for the rest of the day,(soaking) Riff Raff,Ludo & Tic Tac kept me company as always.
