Starting to get back into the hills after a long gap, did this today and it was the hardest one yet, but probably the most enjoyable, went with a great bunch of guys. Knees hurt like mad on the way down though :(

Yeah, that round is certainly a hard day... not one to be doing after a long gap! But I think we did that as around our second Munro - I didn't find it too hard but at that time did find it scary!

Superb pics :D

Excellent set of pics and vids Huck and co. Just curious, how was the slabby section just below Cruachan with all of the snow? I did this walk in excellent dry conditions last month, not sure how I'd fair on the slab section in ice/snow.

Agree with everyone else, great pics, you certainly had good weather for it.
Myself and Norfolk4 are going to do this circuit this coming weekend, wild camping Saturday night up high in the snow - need to get my thermals out

Anyone know what the forecast is for Friday night, Saturday and Saturday night in this area?
Cheers,
Ady.

Hi Jazzy,
It looking likely that we will have a thaw on Thursday/ Friday with sun on Saturday. With that in mind I am tempted to do another big walk but the weather in Scotland is always changeable   so it will be a last minute plan for me. :D

Hi Stretch, the snow was sore on the legs, but it was soft and deep, so it was ok, I would really not fancy doing it if the snow froze over and went all Icy.
