mountain coward, thanks for noticing the avatar its made up of a sunset taken from the Mull of Kintyre (near the top of the road that leads down to the lighthouse!)

How did you get the perfect cut-out shape of Scotland though?

That was quite simple... I found an outline map of Scotland and used that as a template, stuck it over the top of the original photo and then cropped it so all I had is what you see! Here's another couple I created using photos of the road in to Glen Coe and the Wallace Monument:



There's a few more where they came from too!
