Terrific video Alan,
Thank's for taking the time and great effort to both film and post Saturday's walk. I have to say the whole day was a truely wonderful experience with a group of brilliant guys, and a very determined dog.

Stevy.

Good work on the video - nice to see that route through the forest is as nasty as ever (even if you can avoid it  )

Now to check out the lazy one's video... :D

Okay, I've finally watched it! Only 3 things to say:

You've made that round look steep, hairy and nasty - I'm amazed I've done it now (although not the same route - definitely wouldn't consider that scramble at the start!)

That bloody scramble to get onto Sgurr Ban looks truly 'orrid! :o

Amazing what a difference 30 miles or so can make to the weather! You had a truly awful day weather-wise didn't you? While we started off with that for about half an hour, then we more or less had sun all day!

And all this time I've been calling you Alan - now I'm wondering whether someone on here got it right and it's actually the Welsh version, Alun?

And that's four things really... :D

Oh I knew where you went - defo not the ascent for me - it looked many times worse than I imagined it was looking up from Laroch! Didn't Monty & Danrun go up the more northerly ridge onto Sgurr Ban? That looks like my route if I do it again...
