Headed off at 10am from Invermark car park, past the church and onto the track which had a bit of snow on it,this was due to the previous night after a heavy snow fall. We had an idea it had snowed as the road up had 4 feet snow banks up the sides. So anyway off we headed through the snow and it wasn't long till we were getting nice view through the Glen

After we passed the cottage this was where the hard work started as we had to wade through the waist deep snow, just wish i'd took pics at this point but i was too bloody knackered to get the camera out but all the effort was worth while as we started climb and Mount Keen came into view.

Dave

The snow was pretty near perfect for walking, after the cottage where you start climbing the track was waste deep though but once higher it, it was fine. There was only one section of about 10 meters which was a bit slippy but crampons were not required.
