Another grey morning. Set off along the long wet ridge of Creag Fhiaclach. All dark brown moor and black bog towards the distant beacon of Meall Cian Dearg.
. The weather began to brighten and the sun broke through.
The Short scrambly path up Meall Cian Dearg, glazed with ice in parts. A few nervous moments. Soon emerged into ice and thin snow.
It started clouding over again and Loch Laggan disappeared
Eventually we arrived at the ice encrusted cairn at the top of Stob a Choire Meadhoin
Too late in the day for Easain so headed back down. The sun came out and we got some fantastic light conditions.
And some good gnarled textures on Sgriodan
Didn't fancy the icy scramble on the way down so contoured round, getting great views of the Grey Corries in the gathering gloom.
