Thanks, I've said before my photo skills are zero, so any good ones are down to luck !

Is a fab wee walk, more suited for the kids, the natural woodland is superb and lush, a sharp contrast to the dull plantations.

Well one of the most important skills of photography is having an eye for a picture so in that way you don't need to be an expert on the technical stuff, just have the eye!

I looked it up on the web to see whereabouts it was (might take one of my nieces there in the Summer - she got new walking boots at Christmas ) , thanks for posting.

Cheers for the pic of the butterfly Kinley, with 2 kids & a terrier running about the butterflies where airborne before I could get a pic. I read they were rare but there was clouds of them so I presume its thier habitats that are rare ?

WA - I'm sure your neice would love it, some of the display boards/information markers were missing when we visited, good for filling in an afternoon.

Think so - we saw them in Ariundle Oak woods at Strontian (which I recommend in May/June). There were lots around there.

Think they occur in rare clusters.

Surprisingly small butterfly.
