A long day out taking in 3 munros and walking a total of 32km. Very worth while walk with some great veiws if the weather is on your side as it was for us. Started the walk at Linn of Dee walking up the Lairg Gru to the First Munro "Cairn a' Mhaim" then over its short ridge to the SW face of Ben Macdui, from here it is boulder hoping most of the way up, when we reached the top there was still some small snow patches. From the summit of Ben macdui we followed the path down and and over Creagan a' choire Etchachan to the 3rd munro Derry Cairngorm from here we discovered a path that was not on the map and followed it down the hill south to the derry lodge at the bottom of the hill. This is an easy walk back but a long one! A very worth while trip would recommend it to anyone (in good weather as navagation could be tricky)

Hi, must have missed this one.
Great pics, this is the exact route I'm hoping to do in June later this year. If I get the same weather you did I'll be very happy. Did you have a bike for the bit between the car park and the Derry Lodge - just trying to gauge how long this one will take me?
