Had spoke to Doogz a few times during the week about getting out and about, and we both had Thursday off and the weather was looking reasonable.
So the Silver Hearse pulled up at 08:00 and we were off. The music was Bloody Awful - Smooth Radio :wtf: :wtf: How do these people sleep at night subjecting taxpayers to this inane drivel :? Thank some deity that it was a short journey
We both decided the Succoth route was a no-goer, so drove by and parked up beside the bridge under Beinn Luibhean.
Walked up to the biforcation in the burns and took the ridge on the East side of the burn from between Luibhean and Ime.
Soon arrived at the weir and pipe

Carried on up taking snaps on the way

Now i know there may be few patrons on the site thinking -'he's not that lucky to get another inversion' well your only partly wrong :) But you are only going to see a baby one- aaahhhhh!

Image

Now that's all your getting :(

It was now pretty warm and our - graphic description warning 'oxters were drippin' ' as they say. It was time for delayering. Doogz delayered and running on empty ,as he has not been out much recently- I feel the wave of pity, I really do

Image

It was decided we would struggle on just out of a sense of 'True Grit'
The scenery around us was indeed most pleasant and it was great to be breathing the freshest of air.
Here is a wee pic of some of it 8)

Image

On reaching the summit, we both couldn't take it all in, -fantastic 8)

Just another view point

We dragged each other off the summit after about an hour of constant gauping, laughing and general back-slapping.
Neither of us have been out much this winter, but when we have we seem to make the best of it 8)

Cheers all :)
I just love sunny winter days, but do prefer the snow to be a bit more frozen- perfect for the 'ironmongery'
Mountaineering- a pleasant little activity, on yer lonesome or with good company( usually the TPWC )
