The only obvious route around these peaks, and a really good day out. It might be quite a long and unrelenting climb to Elidir Fawr to start off, but it's not difficult and nowhere as bad as sometimes painted and the mountain is a really worthwhile peak. After a very bouldery summit, there's a nice steep descent ridge path before the relatively easy-going traverse between Carnedd y Filiast and Y Garn - the last climb is a a test of the legs though after plenty of earlier ascent metres. Good views all along here, especially at the eastern end, before quite a steep and testing, but pretty, descent path.
